What a lovely stay! the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was very spacious with bags of character. We loved that the hotel was in a key location for exploring the area, and the restaurant served a fabulous meal, with award, winning chefs and a Michelin star. a great value for the experience.
That the room was a little tired, looking in places, and there were a few small niggles like a dirty milk jug at breakfast and occasional power, saving timer issues with the lights. But these were minor inconveniences and didn't detract from the overall charm of the hotel and our enjoyable stay.

Had an amazing Christmas stay at this charming and cozy hotel. The rooms were spacious and came with a mini bar and a hospitality tray. The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful with easy access to local attractions. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of freshly baked bread and homemade jams. The highlight of our stay was the superb restaurant with excellent regional specialities and a great wine list. The service was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to make our holiday memorable.
The trailing wires leading to table lamps were a bit annoying and created some confusion. The bathrooms could have been a bit more modern and have more power outlets.

Great room recently renovated. Great restaurant for dinner.
Breakfast was not good, no milk, no place laid for us, no cups etc. Messy table surrounded by cats, ugh. Food was uninviting and a great shame .

The quietness and the comfort of this hotel. Buffet breakfast was outstanding on French standards.
A few appliances not working perfectly or in bad shape.

Absolutely nothing, totally disappointed as I had booked a superior room and it was awful, highly over priced.
Not very clean, a cat sitting in one of the chairs at the beakfast table.

I liked the layout - our room was one of the little 'cottages' in the garden. The bathroom was great - newly refurbished, I think, and not quite finished. Breakfast was very good and included beautifully fresh breads, croissants, preserves, fresh fruit, etc. Issoudun is conveniently situated for an overnight stay when travelling from uk to southern France (or beyond) and is an interesting place for a short stop.
The garden looked slightly untended and the garden furniture worse for wear. Our air-conditioning didn't work - we didn't mention it to the hotel staff, so cannot say how they might have responded. An outdoor light shone directly into our room, onto the bed. It was turned off at some point but I'd begun to worry that it wasn't going to be. Although the decor was generally good (in keeping with the overall style of the hotel) the orange nylon curtains and bed surrounds were hideous! We felt we were being rushed out of the restaurant at dinner.

We stayed in a charming hotel with a lovely, spacious and modern room. the room was equipped with a mini, bar, flat, screen TV, and a well. the hotel is situated in a quiet area, away from heavy traffic, ensuring a peaceful stay. the restaurant served delicious, refined cuisine with a warm and welcoming staff. Our overall experience was unforgettable.
The lamp on our table occasionally created a disco, like atmosphere, which was a bit disruptive.

The facilities offered were extensive, including amenities such as cotton wool balls. The dinner experience at the hotel's restaurant was delightful, offering a delicious meal in a memorable setting.
Nothing not too like.
